Manners of a gentleman.

             

                  Manners are chivalrous thing and a gentleman is an apostle of manners. It is a jewel in his pocket, which makes him more handsome. We all saw someone in our life, who conquer the attention of everyone while entering in to a room and it is nice to be around him. Right? After reading this blog and adapting the techniques mentioned to your life, you can become that someone who simply conquer the attention and people want to be around. Is it hilarious? Let's start....

a) Dress up to the occasion

                   Dressing is an art. Gentleman is an expert of this art. Our costume should be apt for the occasion we are attending. We dress differently for different occasions. We don't dress same for a marriage function and funeral. A gentleman is well aware of this commonsense.

                        We can avoid this major mistake by taking a small precaution. Plan your costume one day before the occasion. It will help you to avoid mistakes arise due to sudden selection. Try to have a pair of boots in your footwear array. Boots give a macho look to your costume. Always wear little up than the mark required, even at home. This little extra will boost your dominancy among others.

b) Hold open doors.

                             

                            These small things really matter, huh? Matters. These are the small drops to the ocean. Modern men think that these small helps don't count. But they are missing a straight goal kick. Try to think on the behalf of the person who get the advantage. They immediately get a feel that they are special. Because of whom? You. Boom.. The game is changed. They feel happy for you and considered as high value man otherwise gentleman.

 

                        So gentlemen, don't forget to hold the doors, give umbrellas, set the chair for your lady on a dining and give up your seat for an elder one or a lady struggling with her luggage. These little things matters.

c) Listening

              While having a conversation, do we actually listen what others are saying? No, right. We are thinking about the answers to be given or the question we are gonna ask in order to continue the conversation. If you are doubting this, try to figure it out during your next conversation. When I figured it out for the first time, I felt like a torch light being lit to my brain. We weren't actually listening.

                    So how can we improve listening skill? It is so simple and effortless. You will feel the calmness on your first try and it is addicting. During a conversation, don't hustle your mind in search of questions and answers. Simply listen. Oooh.. It will give an awesome feeling to the conversationalist that this man actually listening to my words. And the thought itself make him talk more. Try to give meaningful contribution for the flow. A person for hearing is a good thing to get these days. They think you are a nice person, you value them and really happy to be around you.

  Try to implement this on your next conversation and experience the difference. Improve your listening by making good eye contact, glances and hand gestures which gives an active listener to that conversationalist.

d) Give compliments

                   Compliments are most valuable gift we can give to others without any cost. We all are happy to get compliments. But giving compliments is a gentleman thing.

                 While meeting a person you say " your haircut is awesome, it suits you " or " your physique look good, did you start exercising? ". Anything like that. The person feel good and think you are a humble person. It helps to melt ices which separates you apart.

e) Attitude towards women

                 As gentlemen, the important aspect of our manners depend on this. Women... Few men think that they are weak. We should govern them. We can shout at them with our loud voices and beat them with our strong arms. Actual cowards, right? The man who conquest woman physically is a real shame and not worth to call as gentleman. Some think that women are sex dolls born only for satisfying men's lust. They don't even know that she got a character.

          A gentleman respects woman not because of her money or position she possess. It's simply because of her character. If you are troubling with a life problem, you can share it with your lady without any hesitation. You will definitely get an apt solution. Because problem solving and decision making capacity of women are far better than us. They are mentally strong and filled with lots of love.

             Once Keanu Reeves, the actor who is famous for his gentleman behavior, said " It's always wonderful to get know women, with the mystery and joy and the depth. If you can make a woman laugh, you are seeing the most beautiful thing on god's earth". That's it. Treat your lady as a queen because you are dealing with the beautiful creation of God.

       One more thing, if you are facing a break up, then break up like a gentleman too. If it was her decision to break up, then don't ever try to intrude to her life again. Don't beg for a reunion by lowering your self esteem. Leave her with her choices. Let her go... The world is full of beautiful and loveable senoritas. So don't worry. You will definitely find your one. This is not the end, brother. Life got amazing things for you ahead, only for the ones who are willing to go ahead. That's sure.

f) Have a driving culture

             You have an appointment with someone at 10 am. You need half an hour drive to the location. But you messed up and started at 9.50 am. The only possible way to reach on time is rash driving. You will force to choose wrong sides for overtake, if you don't get chances at right sides. You will honk the horn as much as you can. You will utter foul language to everyone come across you. Oops.. finally after reaching the destination, how will you feel? Energetic or exhausted?

                 These rash driving will drain your energy and make you feel low. So having a driving culture is important. Plan your journey as you reach the destination 10 minutes early as needed. This behavior will give you a calm and tension free driving and proclaim the idea that you value the time of others. You also feel dominancy over others.

               Then on roads, consider fellow travelers. If anyone standing on zebra line to cross, try to stop the vehicle at a considerable distance and make them a way. If anyone opposite to you press passing light, don't press it back. Try to give side for them to pass. Always use indicator lights while turning. Don't play chasing games on roads. Remember ' speed thrills but kills. Not only you but also others. It's normal to meet minor road accidents. Don't get panic or don't go for a fisticuff during that time. Try to understand the situation and take control. That's we gentlemen do. And the last certainly not the least, renew your vehicle's papers regularly.
